The 2019 annual meeting of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Sliding Bearings (ISO/TC123) and its six subcommittees, hosted by the Standardization Administration of China, co-organized by the China Machinery Industry Productivity Promotion Center and Hangzhou International Standardization Exchange Center, and jointly sponsored by Hunan SUND Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Changsheng Sliding Bearing Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Shuangfei Oil-Free Bearing Co., Ltd., and Lin'an Oriental Sliding Bearing Co., Ltd., was held in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province from November 6 to 8. Nearly 40 representatives from Germany, Japan, the UK, Austria, Thailand, and China attended the meeting.

　　Li Yubing, Deputy Director of the Standardization Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation; Wang Xinliang, Director of the Standardization Department of Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Market Regulation; Yu Min, Deputy Director of Hangzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation; Huang Xue, Minister of the Industry Development Department of the China Machinery Industry Federation; and Xiao Chengxiang, Deputy Director of the China Machinery Industry Productivity Promotion Center attended the opening ceremony. Li Yubing, Yu Min, and Professor Yamamoto Takashi, chairman of ISO/TC123, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony on behalf of the host, co-organizer, and ISO/TC123 secretariat, respectively.

　　The Chinese delegation consisted of 16 representatives from 9 units, including the China Machinery Industry Productivity Promotion Center, the domestic counterpart of ISO/TC123, and Hunan SUND Industrial Technology Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Changsheng Sliding Bearing Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Shuangfei Oil-Free Bearing Co., Ltd., and Lin'an Oriental Sliding Bearing Co., Ltd. Ding Baoping, chairman of the National Sliding Bearing Standardization Committee, served as the head of the delegation. The Chinese delegation participated in all ISO/TC123 and SC meetings.

　　This meeting received strong support from the Standardization Innovation Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation, Zhejiang Provincial Administration for Market Regulation, Hangzhou Municipal Administration for Market Regulation, China Machinery Industry Federation, co-organizers, and co-sponsors. The meeting was a complete success. As the domestic counterpart of the International Organization for Standardization Technical Committee on Sliding Bearings (ISO/TC123), the China Machinery Industry Productivity Promotion Center will take the successful hosting of this international standardization meeting as an opportunity to actively promote the implementation of the meeting's achievements, laying a solid foundation for China's deeper participation in international standardization work in the field of sliding bearings and leading the development and revision of more international standard projects in the field of sliding bearings.
