SUND Technology's nuclear power main pump bearing achieves another success
On October 18, 2024, a product appraisal meeting for the "Hualong One Reactor Coolant Pump Thrust Bearing" jointly developed by Harbin Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin Electric Power Equipment") and Hunan SUND Technological Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "SUND Technology") was successfully held in Harbin. The meeting was organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China General Machinery Industry Association. The "Hualong One Reactor Coolant Pump Thrust Bearing" was appraised as having reached the advanced international level of similar products.

News from the client shows that the Zhenhai Refinery's No. 1 ethylene cracker compressor unit has been running smoothly and continuously, marking the successful completion of the localization research and development task for the thrust bearing of this compressor unit. This is the first time that the steam turbine thrust bearing of a large-scale cracking unit compressor in Zhenhai Refinery has undergone localization transformation, marking a significant milestone.
